LOVE MOSAICS: make a mosaic heart or simple wallhanging

This is a great workshop for those wishing to dabble with mosaics for the first time and to take home a stunning piece or for those looking for a taster before embarking on a longer course.

You’ll learn how to cut glass tesserae and crockery for use in mosaics as well as methods for more precise shaping. There will be plenty of hands on practice under the watchful eye of an experienced mosaic artist.

You can chose to make a mosaic heart or a wallhanging such as a bird, rainbow/clouds, rockets from our collection of bases. Its likely that most people will be able to make one or two pieces maximum in the time.

All materials are included and during the workshop we’ll also demonstrate grouting and polishing techniques and there will be chance to grout your own piece.
