Create One piece at a time 

It could be your first time or maybe you are happily returning, but our 3 day course in ‘edgy’ Margate literally gets you stuck-in-to the wonderful art of mosaic. On the English Coast.

Work on a project in a mosaic style of your choice with creative, directional and technical support all the way. You can opt for traditional mosaic tesserae or improvise with crockery, it’s ok we have hammers. Or, surprise us with weathered glass from the beach.

There are technical and practical considerations to consider but we’ll work together to make it your own project. That can be two or three small projects or one big one.


Prior to the workshop start we'll send out guidance on what to wear on the day for safety as well as ways to prepare for the course if you're eager to do some prep work. We'll also send some pre-course inspiration and help on what to bring for specific projects, although we'll also include some basic materials for those wishing to stick with our popular projects. 

For those wishing to view some local well-crafted mosaics, we'll also provide a short tour towards the end of each day. A second tutor will be on-hand for those wishing to continue work in the studio.

Please note that 1kg of glass tesserae is included in the price. Additional glass will be available to purchase at £20/kg.
