Wheel Pottery Experience

This wheel thrown pottery taster gets you hands-on and dirty learning wheel throwing pottery basics. Each student will have their own wheel to work from and following a masterful tutor demonstration its then straight down to practice. Support will be on hand as you try to get to grips with centering and throwing basics.  We keep class sizes small: no more than 4 students to make sure you each get the proper attention. .

Please note that we continually add dates to meet demand. If you’re looking for a date in advance that is not on the list, please get in touch as we may be able to schedule it. We’ll need a minimum of 2 students.

BOOKING

We run the one hour workshop on Fridays, Saturday later afternoons and evenings and Sunday mornings 9-10am. We may also be able to run it at other times during the week. To book in please get in touch to agree a time and we’ll then add a ticket.

FIRING AND GLAZING

Please note that there is an additional cost of £10/pot for any pieces that you would like trimmed and glazed which is payable on the day. Pieces will be ready for collection approximately 4-5 weeks later.

Children over 10 are welcome but do need to be accompanied by a paying adult
