Here’s what you do with your broken crockery
It’s so much fun!

This is one of our most popular workshops with everyone quickly getting the hang of it  and catching the mosaic bug.

During this taster, you’ll learn about the different materials that can be incorporated into mosaic and about substrates and adhesives needed for a flat design. You’ll get to plan and create and take home your own small mosaic piece using pre-cut pieces (think candy store). We’ll inspire with design ideas or approaches to ensure everyone finds their route into mosaic making and will offer creative directional support with aspects like flow or tile spacing. By the end of the workshop you’ll be able to see how the mosaic effect builds up.

Please note, should you wish to grout your piece at home once the glue has had 24 hours to set there is a £5 grouting kit available for purchase on the day.

FURTHER COURSES
We also run longer mosaic courses designed to teach tile cutting and more advanced mosaic making skills and to allow greater time to work on personal projects with suport.
