Led by art coach Kirsty Kennedy

Learn about a range of mixed media painting techniques and different mediums whilst receiving creative directional support. This course is led by K Kennedy, founder of Go Create, a painter/art coach with over 30 years painting experience. Kirsty will guide you through all aspects of the medium including recommended starter materials an equipment, painting surfaces and preparation, brush selection and care, colour theory, paint handling, colour mixing as well as some more advanced concepts to greatly accelerate progress. During the week you’ll get to trial different products, there will be tutor demonstrations plus plenty of hands on exercises and work towards your own personal project with creative directional support. Students will be supported in selecting subject matter, compositions and how to build a painting. This course is suitable for abilities and no prior experience is required.

What to bring:
Some supplies will be included to complete exercises. Please bring a quality sketchbook. Advise will be given on substrates (canvases or boards) that will need to be purchased for final projects.
