Glass engraving is the art of using a tool to mark the surface of a glass. Learn to engrave on 3 dimensional objects using whilst creating a personalised wine or drinking glass. Come prepared with ideas and a design or let us inspire you on the day.

We’ll start the day with tutor demonstrations and a brief presentation before some hands on practice with flat glass just to get you accustomed to the tools.

We’ve also got template designs and ideas for anyone needing a bit more support.

Please note that this workshop is run as a 1:1 or 1:2 people only. The price is £75 for one person or £50/head for 2 people. Do get in touch if you’re looking to book for two people. This ticket is for one person. Although there is a date specified on this booking it is possible to arrange a time.

• An overview of techniques and tools: diamond point, drill engraving and copper wheel engraving
• Which glass to use
• Safety
• An overview of  effects: stipple, intaglio, relief and surface engraving
• Hands on diamond point engraving practice
