Combine a visit to Margate with a relaxing 90 minute candle making workshop. Not only does it take place in our beautiful gallery setting, but you can take home your perfect candle to admire and enjoy on special evenings.

Using only natural ingredients, we’ll guide you through the creation of your own botanical candle made from natural soya wax. We’ll cover how to blend essential oils to create a bespoke fragrance as well as candle making basics: how to melt wax safely, melting equipment, methods, fragrance flashpoints (the temperature to add fragrance to preserve scent throw) wick types and set-up, wax types, hand-pouring, an overview of different candle making processes and candle care.

We will also discuss the benefits of using soya wax and essential oils over alternatives, and how scent evoking ‘memories’ can help create new ones.

Book onto one of our set-date workshops or book as a private party with a minimum of 2 guests on a weekday or a minimum of 8 guests at the weekend.

Please note that your candles will take an hour to set.
