During the 3 hour workshop you’ll create your own clay model or small sculpture. We’ll allow your piece to dry out then bisque fire – you can then come back to paint your piece with pottery glazes ready for glaze firing.

During the initial 3 hour sculpting workshop we’ll introduce basic modelling techniques including tips to ensure your pieces are well joined to increase chances of kiln survival. We will also show you how to prepare your pieces so that they are kiln ready.

You don’t have to be particularly arty – we help everyone find their mark.

This intensive workshop aims to get you started in 3D sculpture. Bring along some ideas or let us inspire you on the day. Ceramic pets, your family in clay, the royals, London buses, souvenir phone boxes…Your idea goes.

On the day we’ll start with a presentation to inspire and teach a range of 3D considerations for kiln firing. You’ll then design your small sculpture or model before construction. We’ll coach in build methods to aid kiln survival and offer guidance as you build your pieces.
