This fun, short 90 minute workshop is great for those visiting Margate who want to craft and take home some souvenirs or a scrub-up after a dip in the sea!!
We’ll cover melt and pour from all angles to ensure you have a good understanding of soap making basics and how to exploit melt and pour to its potential. During the workshop you’ll make at least 4-5 soap samples. But be warned, some may look and smell too good to use.
We’ll explain traditional soap making processes and how this relates to melt and pour bases. You’ll get to choose from a range of synthetic or natural ingredients including essential oils, botanicals as well as moulds to create surely unique soaps. We’ll also inspire with a few recipes for those who want to play it safe!!

How to fragrance and colour using natural or synthetic ingredients

MAKE AND TAKE HOME:
The soap making method that we will be using does not involve the use of harsh chemicals and therefore any soaps that you make on the day can be used immediately. Expect to take home 4-5 soap samples.

WHAT TO BRING
Please dress for mess and bring a container to take home your soap samples.
