Junior art club focuses on coaching children aged 8- 16  according to their current level in painting and drawing primarily whilst also introducing new mediums such as clay, printing and mosaics from time-to-time. I may start to split the club for primary and secondary once numbers build.  I’m starting with a Wednesday class but may also introduce a Saturday class at 2pn.  I coach in  comic art or illustration as well as formal drawing and painting depending on student’s interests and natural skills. In art clubs we trial different mediums including pottery and sculpture from time to time.

I can support portfolio development, coach for scholarships and offer specialist career or career guidance as well as encourage competition entries.

Shown in the gallery is Hannah (age 11) manga illustration. Hannah arrived as just a pencil artist. Also shown is Valentina’s portrait which was one of three paintings which were all selected to appear in this year’s Turner Contemporary.  Also shown are some of Quentin’s drawings. Quentin was awarded 1st place in Thanet’s Young Artists Rotary Competition for his age and has also had work shortlisted for the Turner Contemporary.

Classes are priced at £20  for 1.5 hour which includes materials. The class is joing at any time and its possible to book either 5 sessions for £100 or 10 sessions for £200.
