We aim to help you to develop an understanding of your own interests and developing style.

Each week, you can choose to paint, draw, cartoon, illustration or design (with drawing or painting mediums). We’ll help to
inspire or coach you if needed, and will teach new techniques and
approaches according to your developing needs. Above all, individuals benefit from the knowledge and support from advanced practitioners who can help guide development. Individuals are amazed at the difference this type of coaching can have over regular art classes.  So whether you’re starting out in painting or drawing or wish to develop specialist skills, we’ll offer encouragement and creative directional support.

Our flexible approach can save you time and money: we allow you to hop across interests ie you can be coached in drawing for one or two weeks and then trial a particular painting medium, rather than wait for a new term or course.  Students love our flexible and dynamic approach.

You can trail a session (see taster rates) or sign up for a 5 or 10 week bookings at a more discounted

Please note that when booking a 10 week class at a discounted rate, classes must be taken within the term dates and individual classes cannot be rolled across to the next term. We do also run a 5 week JOIN AT ANY TIME CLASS where it can be possible to roll a class over subject to 24 hours notice.

“”Kirsty is an excellent tutor, she gives guidance and advice when required, but also leaves me to develop the project in my own style and encourages me in the right direction to see for myself where improvement and change is needed. My painting skills and knowledge have most certainly developed for the better, and I think the fact that I keep coming back speaks for itself.”

Louise Berryman Materials are provided and you can trial a wide variety of mediums. This is a great, introductory, general class and is an ideal way to trial mediums and approaches before embarking on a more specialist course. Class sizes are small and the price is great value for the level of art directional support that you will receive.

Location: Studio 2, Global House 21 Lombard Road Wimbledon SW19 3TZ (The studio door is down the side of the building, on the left just before the Acava studios sign).
